In what has been a huge week for Star Wars, featuring the release of the long-awaited Star Wars: The Last Jedi teaser, Star Wars: Rebels creator Dave Filoni confirmed that Ahsoka Tano is set to re-appear after what was an ambiguous conclusion to the character in the finale of season 2.
Absent through all of season 3, she was last seen facing off against her former master and current Dark Lord of The Sith, Darth Vader. In a (very) emotionally charged battle, Ahsoka’s fate was left up in the air, with creators neither confirming nor denying the fact that she may very well still be alive in the timeline of the show. All that was said was that her journey on the TV show had come to an end, but given the character’s surge in popularity, especially after the season 2 finale, it seems to have been a decision that they have happily gone back on.
How she will appear, though, is still a mystery. Whether it be as a force ghost, in person, or even through a flashback, the fan-favorite Togruta heroine’s return is something all Rebels fans can look forward to.
