The third chapter of The Maze Runner franchise has recently pushed its initial release date from January 12, 2018 to February 9, 2018. A month is not that bad of news. Dylan O’Brien, who plays Thomas, was injured a while back when filming had begun so the production was already held back.
The two previous movies, The Maze Runner (2014, $102.4 M) and Maze Runner: Scorch Trials (2015, $81.6 M), made a substantial total box office gross so the third should also make some money. Hopefully the final chapter of the series can be the best. Personally I did not enjoy the movies. I loved the books however. I definitely recommend reading James Dashner’s books!
