Looks like the hero of Harlem is on his way back to the small screen sooner than expected after The Defenders. Mike Colter, who plays the Power-man himself, recently stated in a panel at C2E2 that Luke Cage season 2 will begin filming this June and the release date is not yet set.
However, fans will be able to see Power-man along with the other heroes for hire in the 8 episode Netflix original The Defenders, which will bring Luke Cage, Matt Murdock, Jessica Jones and Danny Rand all together for the first time.
The Defenders comes out on August 18th, 2017.
