Jason Momoa’s first solo film for DC and Warner Bros. will begin filming this week! The movie has a new release date which is December 18, 2018, but do not fret because we will see Aquaman this year on November 17 with the Justice League release! They will be filming at Village Roadshow Studios. There are some other popular movies that have also had their production there. Those movies include the following:
- Thor: Ragnarok
- Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales
- Kong: Skull Island
- The Shallows
- San Andreas
- Scooby-Doo
Queensland, Australia is a gorgeous place! And by looking at a few pictures on Google, Aquaman seems like it will be beautiful. I have never been there, but I can now say that it is on my bucket list of places where I need to go.
Aquaman is directed by James Wan. Momoa will be sharing the spotlight with Amber Heard (Mera), Willem DeFoe (Nuidis Vulko), Nichole Kidman (Queen Atlanta), Dolph Lundgren (King Nereus), Patrick Wilson (Orm/Ocean Master), Temuera Morrison (Thomas Curry), and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Black Manta)
