Back in March, Logan director James Mangold teased that fans would be getting a special black-and-white cut of the critically acclaimed movie. However, in a tweet on April 28, Mangold said:

On Tuesday, May 16, in Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas across the country there will be a special one night showing of the monochromatic version of the movie followed by a special Live-stream Q&A with Mangold.
Here is the full press release:

On Tuesday, May 16th, audiences across the country will re-immerse themselves in the bold and beautiful brutality of the Logan story, presented in stunning black and white for one night only.

Alamo Drafthouse and 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment are proud to present LOGAN NOIR, a new, monochromatic vision of one of the greatest comic hero films ever made. This one-time screening event will be followed by an exclusive, live streamed Q&A with director James Mangold. Alamo Drafthouse theaters across the country will present screenings and the Q&A beginning at 8pm EST on Tuesday, May 16th.

Those who live near an Alamo Drafthouse and wish to get tickets better go soon because they won’t last long, and once they’re gone, they’re gone.

But if you do not live near an Alamo Drafthouse (like myself) or you are unable to get a ticket, do not worry! The Blu-Ray edition of Logan will be released, and as an added bonus, Logan Noir will be released as an added feature!

Logan Noir is in select theaters May 16th.
