“The great war is here.”
Those are the closing words said by Jon Snow at the end of the new Game of Thrones trailer that teases an epic season. The trailer doesn’t show a ton story-wise, but continues the focus on the characters who will be the three main leaders of the season with Queen Cersei of King’s Landing, the King in the North, Jon Snow, and the Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen. The trailer even shows footage of Daenerys landing at the Vale. This will be the penultimate season of the show and will only feature seven episodes. Season seven of Game of Thrones debuts on July 16.
A poster for the season was also recently released.
