One of the directors for The Punisher was interviewed by Heroic Hollywood and released some information on the series. Dearbhla Walsh stated,

“One other time [I directed stateside] that hasn’t been aired yet, which was an episode for the new Marvel series The Punisher, which I did just before Christmas, but it’s not airing until November.”

There has NOT been an official word on the release date so take her quote with a grain of salt. Netflix could potentially release these individually or at least that is what Walsh made it sound like. I would love for the full series to come out in October for these four reasons

  1. Spider-Man: Homecoming, July 7
  2. The Defenders, August 18
  3. The Inhumans, September 1
  4. Thor: Ragnarok, November 4

October would give us fans five straight months of Marvel! Talk about saturation right? I don’t care though since I am pulling for the October release and a fan until death! If you wanted to include Disney property, then Star Wars: The Last Jedi in December and Agents of SHIELD returns sometime in January. I also think that October would be the best because why release a series when Thor: Ragnarok and Justice League will be the main focuses for people? Regardless it seems like a mid to late fall release is when we can expect to see Jon Bernthal return as Frank Castle.
