Over the course the Supernova convention that occurred this weekend in Australia, Chris Hemsworth mentioned that it is “illegal” for Marvel actor to show up in DC films.  Actors being totally tied to one studio or franchise is not something totally unheard of.  What that means from the Hollywood side however, is that any one of the actors from films such as The Avengers or Guardians of the Galaxy are prohibited from ever appearing in films from DC like Batman or Superman.

Part of the revealing of this news is also thanks to Tyler James via his Twitter account (the link to this tweet can be found below). James was also present at Hemsworth’s panel at the convention.
