Spider-Man news has been frequent the last few days with Spider-Man: Homecoming about a week away. Now we have some word on when the sequel to that film will fit into the Marvel Cinematic Universe timeline. Producer Amy Pascal recently told Fandom that the film’s sequel is set to be released in 2019 and will take place “minutes after Avengers 4.”
What I think we should focus on is this Spider-Man who started in Civil War and then has this movie, and then will be in the Avengers movie. And we are starting now the next one which will start a few minutes after Avengers 4 wraps as a story.
This news does give way for many fans to speculate on how Spider-Man’s story will unfold in the MCU films he will be featured in leading to the 2019 sequel.
Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters July 7.
