I became a fan of 20th Century Fox’s Marvel films after seeing X-Men: Days of Future Past, and haven’t stopped enjoying them since. I went back to watch First Class, and thoroughly enjoyed Apocalypse and of course Deadpool. Fantastic Four was unfortunate, but it made me enjoy the films that came before. What’s great though is that Apocalypse and Deadpool have sparked a bright future for the mutants, and the Fantastic Four could have another chance, now that there are six more release dates for upcoming Marvel movies from Fox.
The New Mutants on April 13, 2018 will be a fresh addition to the X-Men franchise. Then, Deadpool 2 on June 1, 2018 will be the next hilarious adventure for the titular character. Lastly, X-Men: Dark Phoenix on November 2, 2018 will not only be a refreshing take on the Dark Phoenix saga, but the X-Men team teased at the end of the previous film.
However, the new dates are as follows:
June 7, 2019
November 22, 2019
March 13, 2020
June 26, 2020
October 2, 2020
March 5, 2021
My thoughts? The entirety of 2020 is sequels, but the other dates could be for Gambit, X-Force, or maybe even an X-23 film. Fantastic Four is a possibility as well, but given it might require another reboot, it’s the last on my list and probably the latest of the release dates. Regardless, I’m excited for whatever Fox is going to be putting out!
