Rumors started to circulate that Samuel L. Jackson would share the screen with Brie Larson in Captain Marvel. Those rumors may in fact be true. Earlier today, Christopher M. tweeted that Jackson would indeed return to play Nick Fury in the film.

Fury has not been in a MCU film since Avengers: Age of Ultron in 2015 and his return would be a refreshing face to see for fans. Fury will hopefully also appear in Avengers: Infinity War on May 4, 2018. Captain Marvel will star Oscar winner Brie Larson and will be directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck.
Captain Marvel is set to hit theaters March 8, 2019.
