*Spoilers for Batman #25 Follow*
Following the conclusion of Part One of Six, The War of Jokes and Riddles Part Two does not disappoint. Although there is much less action than in Batman #25, Batman #26 shows the start of the latest story arc of the Batman comics.
Before we get into Batman #26, here is a quick recap of Batman #25: In the opening pages, Joker is auditioning comedians, but kills those that are not good enough. A few pages later, we find the Riddler and Joker meeting, trying to team up to kill Batman. The Caped Crusader, however, crashes the party, and Joker shoots Riddler. Now, Riddler wants revenge on Joker, and Bruce is seen telling Selina how he is responsible for the entire War of Jokes and Riddles, and it is his fault alone.
Now to Batman #26. The riddles that Riddler tells, though there are only a few, are quite comical. The Joker’s jokes and lines, are just as awesome. The artistic work for this issue is simply breathtaking, as Bruce’s narration captivates the reader as he continues to tell the story of the start of The War of Jokes and Riddles.
Although some questions become answered, new questions arise. We here at Geek Motivation want to wait to ask the audience those questions until everyone has had a chance to read the latest Batman issue. Besides those, there has been one other question bothering us from the start of Part One; how is Selina going to take all of this? Will she tell Bruce it is not his fault? Will she abandon her new fiancé after he comes clean? We are just going to have to wait and see!
If you have another idea of how Selina might react, let us know in the comments. But please, for the sake of our other viewers who may not have read Batman #26 just yet, keep all spoilers for this issue out of the comments. Many thanks!
