Spoilers for Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again #1 ahead!

We apologize for being a week late on this, but here is our review of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again #1! For starters, why is it that Deadpool is again going on a killing spree of our favorite heroes? It doesn’t matter, because these Deadpool Kills are great! This time around though, it doesn’t seem to be our favorite Merc with a Mouth’s decision.

With the issue starting out in a fight between the Uncanny Avengers and M.O.D.O.K. and company, Deadpool seems completely coherent and ready to serve as an Avenger. Already, Gambit has been killed, but who is next? Well, for starters, the team Deadpool is working with is in quite a bit of danger. M.O.D.O.K. and The Red Skull have somehow tricked Deadpool into killing all his fellow heroes.

Throughout the comic, we find that there are a group of Avengers already hunting the hero serial killer, and when they find it’s Deadpool, Punisher is one of the first ready to nail him to a cross. There’s a nice joke tussled into the comments, which may have flown over some readers heads. Someone in this group of hero detectives asked “How many does this make now?” Now, there’s no confirmation, but it seems like a nice reference to the other time that Deadpool went ahead and wiped out the Marvel Universe, (a nice read, if you haven’t read it yet).

We find out that Deadpool may be fighting his mind control, however, since there seemed to be a note from Deadpool under an empty pizza box. Does this mean that Deadpool may not kill all of the Avengers again? Hopefully not, as Deadpool is currently having a great run as an Avenger. We will find out soon enough, as Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again #2 hits shelves this coming week!
