Filming for Marvel’s Runaways started earlier this year, along with Marvel’s other new show Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger. But did anyone expect the show to start premiering this year? Not at all.
It is officially confirmed by Hulu that the show will premiere on November 21. The series has 10 episodes and will be released weekly every Tuesday following the premiere date. That should suffice for us after we finish binge watching Marvel’s The Punisher and start waiting for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D – Season 05 to premiere.
Marvel’s Runaways for Hulu is based on the comic created by the award-winning team of Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona.
The show will star Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder, Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru, Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes, Virginia Gardner as Carolina Dean, Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein, and Allegra Acosta (Molly Hernandez)
Runaways follows a group of six teenagers in the Marvel universe – Nico Minoru, Karolina Dean, Molly Hayes, Chase Stein, Alex Wilder, and Gertrude Yorkes – who discover that their parents are secretly members of a supervillain cabal called The Pride. After deciding they’re no longer safe in their own homes, the kids go on the run. In the midst of hiding from their elders, the teens learn about themselves and become a family of their own.
