On Tuesday evening, Warner Brothers released the official date the Wonder Woman sequel would hit theaters.
The Hollywood Reporter broke the news, saying Wonder Woman 2 will hit theaters December 13, 2019. Gal Gadot will return, however talks with Patty Jenkins discussing her return to direct the sequel are still ongoing.
Before the movie hits theaters, Gal Gadot will be seen as Diana Prince once again in Justice League, which releases November 17, 2017. The Wonder Woman sequel will be highly anticipated due to the success of the first film, which has grossed over $389 million domestically.
