A release date for the next James Bond film was recently revealed and is slated for November 8, 2019. Daniel Craig has also been confirmed to return for what will be his fifth time playing Bond. Next is who could potentially be tasked to direct the 25th installment of the franchise. Three names have emerged according to deadline. No, none of them are Christopher Nolan.

Denis Villeneuve, Yann Demange and David Mackenzie are the names given by the website.

Villeneuve is definitely the biggest name out of the three. He directed Prisoners, Arrival and the highly anticipated Blade Runner 2049 coming to theaters on October 6.

Demange directed ’71, a historical thriller set in Northern Ireland. He also has a crime drama titled White Boy Rick set release early 2018. That will be his second directorial credit.

Mackenzie directed last years critical hit Hell or High Water. The film received four Academy Award nominations.

Deadline has also reported that all three have had meetings about the project.
