After Earth 2 Laurel Lance was introduced on The Flash Season 2, many wondered if she would meet her Earth 1 doppelganger’s friends over on Arrow. We got our wishes in Season 5 of Arrow, when she appeared on Team Prometheus. She’s been confirmed as a regular for season 6 of Arrow where her origin will be explored according to comicbook.com. Katie Cassidy said, “Yes, I think the more we learn about her backstory and what her relationship was like with Oliver… I think it will make sense in the end and not necessarily make her as bad of a person. You might be like Oh, okay that makes sense. Yes, I do think we’ll know more.” So far what we know of her origin story is very little, other than that Earth 2 Oliver died on the Gambit, Robert Queen is the Arrow, and she was working for Zoom who probably forced her to work for him.
