SPOILERS FOR DARTH VADER #3 FOLLOW

Picking up directly where Darth Vader #3 left off, the audience finds Vader setting out to complete his seemingly failed mission. Overall, the story is great for forwarding the plot, however, the final showdown lacks a bit.

Although the reader gets a glimpse into the creativity and persistence of the former Jedi Anakin Skywalker, the story seems a bit rushed. Kirak Infil’a was built up to be a great Jedi in the issues preceding #4, and had so much more potential than was given to him. With the exception of the rushed story, the dialogue and writing are phenomenal, as is the artwork. If you’re a die-hard fan of the Darth Vader comic line, make your way to your local comic shop to pick up a copy of Darth Vader #4 today. If you are not one of those, waiting until September 5th for issue #5 won’t be the end of the world. You can always just read the prologue and catch up on this issue’s happenings.

Do you have a different opinion? Let us know in the comments below, but please, keep everything spoiler-free!
