A few years ago The CW was working on Amazon, a Wonder Woman prequel, that would follow the heroine’s origins. much like Smallville. However the network decided not to go forward with the project.
During the Television Critics Association press event, The CW confirmed that there are no plans to redevelop the series, after the critical and financial success the film Wonder Woman proved to be.
