Plenty of news has been released from James Gunn in the past couple days regarding not just the future of Guardians of the Galaxy, but all of the cosmos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This future won’t come into play until after the fourth Avengers film, in Phase 4. As we know, with each phase in the MCU comes significant changes. The release date of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3 is unknown, but James Gunn has spoken once again to The Hollywood Reporter, saying that the current members of the Guardians are going to be shaken up:
“I’m definitely interested in the direction that these characters are headed and their roles in the Marvel Universe.”
Many fans are considering The Ravagers, who appeared in the previous installment. Pictured above are Sylvester Stallone as Stakar Ogord, Ving Rhames as Charlie-27, Michelle Yeoh as Aleta Ogord, Michael Rosenbaum as Martinex and Miley Cyrus as Mainframe. These aren’t the only alternates with there being a handful of others in the comics.
