Deadline has reported that Patty Jenkins is in final talks to return as the director for the sequel to Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman was a success financially and critically. Jenkins will receive a pay raise that should be around what other filmmakers who made films similar to the blockbuster scale of Wonder Woman. This is a step in the right direction for gender equality.
Wonder Woman 2 will be released on December 13, 2019.
