Jared Leto’s portrayal of the Joker in Suicide Squad was undoubtedly polarizing on many levels for most fans. However, Leto will get two more chances to be the clown prince of crime in the DCEU. An article by Deadline that reported on a Joker origin film in development with Martin Scorsese also stated that Leto will reprise his role in Suicide Squad 2 and Gotham City Sirens.
No release date has been set for either of those films. David Ayer directed Leto in Suicide Squad and has been rumored to direct Gotham City Sirens. No director has been set for Suicide Squad 2.
