Variety has reported that Gavin O’ Connor will write and direct the sequel to WB’s Suicide Squad. O’ Connor recently directed The Accountant with Ben Affleck, who plays Batman in the DCEU. David Ayer directed the first film which received poor reviews from fans and critics.
The sequel to Suicide Squad will star Will Smith as Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot, and Margot Robbie as Harleen Quinzel aka Harley Quinn.
