It’s finally official. Patty Jenkins, director of Wonder Woman has closed a deal with Warner Brothers to direct the next installment of Diana Princes’ franchise. Thanks to Variety for breaking this news, fans can now rejoice knowing the sequel is in the best hands possible.
Wonder Woman has been praised as the first great DCEU movie, all thanks to Jenkins. The movie’s theatrical run closed with a worldwide total of $813 million, and has been certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, with a score of 92%. The upcoming sequel is slated to be released on December 13, 2019.
