Deadline has confirmed that Gal Gadot will return as Wonder Woman in the upcoming Flash movie Flashpoint.
This isn’t really a surprise, considering Wonder Woman’s role in the Flashpoint comics. In this arc, Barry Allen travels back in time to stop Reverse Flash from killing his mother. In doing so the whole timeline changes. Barry doesn’t have his powers anymore. Superman is imprisoned and has never seen the sun. Bruce Wayne is dead and his father Thomas Wayne is Batman. Earth is at the brink of destruction because Atlanteans and Amazonians are at war, Aquaman and Wonder Woman helming their troops. Barry must find a way to restore the original timeline, but things don’t always work out as expected.
Fans won’t have to wait too long to see the Amazon on the big screen once again, as she’ll be appearing in the upcoming Justice League film.
Justice League will be released November 17th, 2017.
