That’s not all as Ezra Miller later in the week discussed his character at length in a promotional video featured below.

The featurette included new and extended scenes from the film including an interaction with Bruce Wayne, and his alter ego Batman. Bruce Wayne recruits Barry Allen but admits he’s not entirely sure what his abilities are, he just knows he has them, (he’s Batman he probably knows what they are). Ezra then starts to talk briefly about The Flash’s origin, including him being struck by lightning.

Ezra then revealed that he brings this “extra dimensional power, the Speed Force” that grants him the power of superhuman speed, and the ability to bend time. Ezra confirms that Barry is the youngest member of the Justice League and it shows in a scene between his character and Batman. Batman, one of the more experienced members guides Barry into saving people instead of fighting saying “Save one person” to which Barry replies “Which one?” “Don’t talk, don’t fight, get in, get one out” “And then?” “You’ll know”.

In the end Ezra reveals that Barry is “Criminally excited to join the Justice League” and we can’t wait to see him bring the Scarlet Speedster to the big screen for his full debut.

Justice League opens in theaters on November 17th.
