The end of an era may be close at hand. Disney, the parent company of Marvel Studios and Marvel Television, has released a new report, bearing unfortunate news: Marvel Television can no longer make deals with companies not owned by Disney. That includes Netflix as well.

With a new streaming service announced, Disney seems to be attempting to force Marvel into moving their shows over. Shows such as Marvel’s Agents of Shield, and Inhumans, are safe from threat, as is The Runaways. These shows are protected, because the first two are released on ABC, which is owned by Disney, and the third is streamed on Hulu, which is partly owned by Disney.

What does this mean for fan-favorite shows such as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Luke Cage? Unfortunately, there is no news as of yet. However, the fate of properties such as Moon Knight and Blade hang in the balance. Hopefully, the deal Marvel Television has struck with Netflix will still stand, and good relations will continue between the three companies, so fans can enjoy all their favorite Marvel heroes.
