The Incredibles was an animated superhero film ahead of its time. It was a spoof of superhero films but it also contained the action and fun that made the genre so great. It was mostly comedic but, being a Disney Pixar film, it also had relatable characters and its fair share of dramatic moments.

So needless to say that the film grew a large fanbase and those fans have wanted a sequel ever since it was released in 2004. And after a long wait it was finally revealed that the sequel would be directed and written by Brad Bird, who made the previons film, and that the voice cast would return, with a release date of 2018. And after the sequel was confirmed, fans were eager for a teaser of what was to come for the film. There was a sneak peek released at this year’s D23 Expo, but it hasn’t been made public.

But today, it’s finally been confirmed that the first teaser for The Incredibles 2 will be officially released this month. According to Trailer Track, the teaser will be released in theatres on November 22 alongside Pixar’s latest film Coco, which means it could be released online either before or during that date. The teaser is reportedly a 60 seconds long sneak peek. Though that doesn’t seem like the duration of a trailer or even a long teaser, this amount of footage should be enough to satisfy fans after such a long wait.

The Incredibles 2 is set to hit theatres on June 15, 2018, and it will be set right after the events of the first film.
