When Marvel’s The Defenders released on Netflix back in August, fans were unsure about what to expect. From the death of some known characters to the disarming of another, viewers were left wondering where the future of the Marvel Netflix universe will take its survivors. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter days after the show’s release, actor Charlie Cox, who plays Matthew “Matt” Murdock/ Daredevil, teased a major story arc for Daredevil‘s third season. Weeks ago, Vincent D’Onofrio was confirmed to return to the series’s third season in his role as Wilson Fisk/ Kingpin. Just recently, some news sprung about the season.

According to a recent article by Screen Rant, a tweet by @UseableID confirmed the show’s third season will begin filming in New York City from Monday, November 13th to Thursday, November 16th, 2017 under the working title ‘Ringside S3.’

Unfortunately, with the second seasons to both Jessica Jones and Luke Cage having already been filmed, it is highly likely that they will be released on Netflix prior to Daredevil Season 3.
