With the holiday season upon us, some of the writers at geek motivation shared what they are thankful for in geek culture! Here is what they had to say!
Alicia Leon–I’m thankful for the geek community that is filled with people who are invested in the art of bringing great stories to life. I am thankful for the diversity in geek culture where maybe not everything is for one person but each person can find their own thing. And I am most grateful for the big family that is fostered here at Geek Motivation because there’s nothing but positivity and hard work from each of the members.
Akhil Modali– I am thankful for everyone who is part of the geek motivation family. They are always around when needed and I am blessed to say that. I am also very thankful for the accessibility and emergence of comic books and superheroes as a whole. It is awesome to watch people gain access and start to appreciate these characters that I love and hold so close to my heart!
Raymond Vinuya –I’m thankful for the hope and inspiration geek culture emanates! There is nothing more motivating than watching icons like Green Arrow, Batman, Spiderman, etc overcome their darkest fears both inside and out.
Lief Brandgard-I’m thankful for the great adaptations to our favorite comics and for the wonderful creators who make them!
Devin Roberts-Im thankful in geek culture is that you can be accepted by many even if have different fandoms! Geeks stick together!!
Christian Quiles-Geek Culture is something that has help shape me into the person I currently am. Spider-Man, Batman, Superman Captain America, and many superheroes have taught me valuable lessons on humanity and doing good. Thanks to Geek Culture, I’ve met some of the greatest geeks in the small island of Puerto Rico, US, and Geek Motivation, which I hold a special place in my heart.
