By no means is he my favorite superhero, but he embodies hope, justice and he isn’t from here.
Superman is the ideal superhero. He is what comes to mind when you ask them to name a superhero or give an example. Superman was my motivation to get into comic books.
When I was 5 years old, I hated to read. Just like most 5 year olds, my mom could not get me to sit down for a minute. It wasn’t until she bought me a Superman comic to read that she got me to sit down and actually start reading. Since then, I have been reading every single chance I get.
I loved his character and he motivated to reach out and start reading other comics. Those comics evolved into me loving video games, which created a chain effect and ultimately lead to me becoming a geek.
I love every second of it.
Geek culture is accepting and full of amazing people. This all motivated me to join Geek Motivation. I am very blessed to say that joining Geek Motivation is one of the best decisions I have made for myself in a very long time. The team is awesome and always really caring and supportive. I love being geek, and I wouldn’t want to be one anywhere else!
