From a random day, came the greatest news.
Today, on Marvel Studios’ Twitter account (@marvelstudios), a seemingly random tweet was posted.
On a scale of one to infinity, how excited are you to see #InfinityWar on May 4th? pic.twitter.com/72jYKj2ODG
— Marvel Studios (@MarvelStudios) March 1, 2018
This caused Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), to tweet back at them, which eventually resulted in one of the greatest Marvel announcements this year.
Any chance I could see it earlier?

Great. With friends?

From here is where we found out we would be receiving Infinity War one week earlier than planned.
That’s a FANTASTIC idea! Done.

This announcement caused Robert Downey Jr. to share an incredibly appropriate GIF.
You guys wanted it. You got it. See you there April 27th. pic.twitter.com/DsllNH2ko6

This is fantastic news. In movie time, a week is a long wait. This is great to know that we will be receiving the phenomenal event an entire week early. This also allows the box office time to prepare for the release of films like Deadpool 2, and Solo: A Star Wars Story.
