Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy has officially confirmed a Jar Jar Binks solo film for 2021. Although few details have been released, we know this will not be the focus of Rian Johnson’s trilogy.
“After rewatching The Phantom Menace, I have come to realize that Jar Jar Binks is an extremely intriguing character with a rich history just waiting to be explored,” said Kennedy. “Although this is not the spin-off fans hoped for, and those are coming, this entry into the Star Wars universe will become the crown jewel of the anthology films.”
There are so many questions I have about this. When will it take place? Will Ewan McGregor make an appearance? Why? I hope we get these answers soon.
