Last week, Iron Fist was canceled after only two seasons at Netflix. The show ended with Danny Rand with two Iron Fists and Colleen Wing defending New York City with one. Now, the Marvel Cinematic Universe show featuring the Defender and Protector of Kunlun is not the only series to have its plug pulled.
According to an article written under Deadline, Marvel’s other series Luke Cage has been canceled as well after only two seasons and twenty-six episodes. The last time we saw the bulletproof hero of Harlem, Luke Cage had been crowned the owner of the nightclub Harlem’s Paradise after the death of Mariah Dillard.
Like Iron Fist, Luke Cage‘s second season made serious improvements from its first.
With both Iron Fist and Luke Cage both canceled at Netflix, will Marvel have some plans for a Heroes for Hire show or a Daughters of the Dragon series for Disney’s online streaming platform? What are your thoughts on this? Let us know!
