Earlier this week, news broke that Katherine Langford (Thirteen Reasons Why) was added to the cast of Avengers 4, and had already shot her scenes. Immediately, fans began to wonder who she could be playing, considering her age. Many fans, myself included, added that Kate Bishop was a sure-fire option.

Earlier today, Jeremy Conrad from MCUCosmic reported that a Hawkeye film/series could be in development. He stated that the project will be based around Hawkeye training a new, younger archer.

He adds that he doesn’t know where it will end up, considering Marvel and Disney have a new streaming service on the way. As many fans know, back in June, a Hawkeye project was talked about being a possibility. With this news, we can expect an announcement anytime soon.

Of course, this idea would be phenomenal for a episodic miniseries, eventually bringing the idea into the mainstream MCU, but fans would also appreciate a long overdue Hawkeye film.

This, of course, is still all just a report, and holds no weight, considering Marvel has yet to announce any official plans for Phase 4 of the MCU. A series based around Hawkeye and Kate Bishop being trained during the time after Infinity War, and before Avengers 4 would definitely be interesting, and it would be amazing to see Kate in Avengers 4.

What do you guys think? Are you excited to see a Hawkeye film or series? Are you excited to see him return in Avengers 4? Let us know in the comments down below! As always, for more things Geek, follow us @GEEKMOTIVATION.
