Another Japanese property is getting the Hollywood treatment, this time it’s Attack on Titan (Shingeki no Kyojin).
Variety reports It director Andy Muschietti will be directing the Warner Bros. adaptation of the popular manga series.
David Heyman (Harry Potter), Masi Oka (Mega Man) Barbara Muschietti (It) are producing the movie.
Attack on Titan is currently one of the most popular manga and anime series worldwide. The story is about humanity’s survival after the appearance of Titans, creatures that threaten their existence. To survive they build walls to keep the Titans out, but after years of living in peace, the Titans strike and breach the outer wall, putting the peace in jeopardy.
