Hello, Scooby fans. I come here bearing real good news. Our favorite Great Dane is coming back to the biggest screen near you, according to THR.

Regrettably (or maybe not), to us, the fans of the James Gunn’s film, no one from the original movies is coming back. And it’s an animated movie, by the way.

Nevertheless, it has a star-studded voice cast and a very exciting producer. Among the actors lending their voices to the Mystery Inc. gang are Will Forte, Gina Rodriguez and Tracy Morgan.

The camera will be controlled by Tony Cervone, a real pro with animation, with Tom and Jerry and The Looney Tunes Show under his belt.

And Harry Potter‘s own Chris Columbus is producing. So, if you aren’t excited, you’re probably either too young to know Scooby-Doo, or dead inside.

I know, I also wanted to watch a movie with the 40-something original cast all complaining about their mortgages, kids, and hanging out with a man that gets his dog high and then eat probably harmful food for and with this same dog.

But, I’m excited for this new incarnation of the Scooby-Doo gang. So, get those Shaggy memes ready, for this movie will come in May 2020.
