As of today, we haven’t gotten a second trailer for Avengers: Endgame, but fans eagerly waiting for more reveals about the movie can find some satisfaction with the reveal of the Avengers: Endgame LEGO sets. The images of these sets were leaked from Amazon France’s website and have since been taken down.
Even though most of the characters featured on the sets have either appeared in the trailers or have been confirmed to appear in the movie, there are still some reveals that may be considered spoilers so proceed with caution. Also, the reveals from these sets should be taken with a grain of salt, since Marvel and LEGO have made misleading LEGO sets to avoid spoilers, like hiding the the Mandarin’s true identity in the Iron Man 3 LEGO sets.
First we have this set, where Captain America has a weaponized motorcycle and is battling the outriders, Thanos’ minions who appeared in Avengers: Infinity War. But unlike the outriders from that movie’s LEGO sets, these have extra sharp claws which means we might see a more powerful breed of outriders.
Next we have possibly the biggest reveal of all: Rhodey, a.k.a. War Machine, has his own Hulkbuster suit. And like Captain America in the previous set, War Machine and Ant-Man are wearing white Avengers battle suits, which were also revealed in previous toys.
This next set features Thor, Hawkeye, Black Widow and Rocket in the aforementioned battle suits and a new model of the quinjet. However, they’re not battling outriders like in the other sets, but rather Chitauri, the aliens from The Avengers (2012). This means that the Chitauri may have come back to aid Thanos, or it has something to do with time-traveling.
This set confirms that Tony Stark will return to Earth, more specifically, to his hall of Iron Man suits. The big standout is Igor, the bulky blue suit which first appeared in Iron Man 3.
And the final set shows the Avengers, more specifically Iron Man, Hulk, Nebula and Captain Marvel, having their rematch with Thanos at the Avengers Mansion. And Thanos has a big hammer, apparently.
Avengers: Endgame is directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and is set to hit theaters on April 26th, 2019.
