Hawkeye Getting His Own Disney+ Series

Yes, you’re reading it right. Disney is making a limited series of the famed archer of the MCU, according to Variety.

From the announcement of the streaming service Disney+, we’ve been getting news every now and then about a new limited series, from a Scarlet Witch and Vision team-up to a Loki solo series. Well, now it’s time for the most powerful Avenger (maybe), with Jeremy Renner reprising his role, to get his own project.

Well, although he’s not the most powerful, he has a lot of potential. And you can add Kate Bishop to this mix. If you don’t know who that is, that’s okay. She’s a character that’s been living in the Marvel universe since 2005, creation of Allan Heinberg and Jim Cheung.

She was a part of the Young Avengers, for most time, but she rose into fame since Marvel Now! retired Clint Barton as Hawkeye after the events of Secret Empire and made Bishop the new archer.

With Renner reprising his role, Hawkeye finally getting time to develop as a character, and probably passing the torch to a new generation of superhero, let me know, who would you like to see cast as Kate Bishop?
