Just a normal neanderthal looking forward to giving his not-at-all-informed opinion.
If you’re a fan of ABC’s Agents of SHIELD you have known for a while now that there is a Ghost Rider in the MCU, but it wasn’t Johnny Blaze (the one that official crazy person Nicholas Cage played). Instead, Gabriel Luna played a more recent version of the character called Robbie Reyes.
Earlier today a tweet from the official Hulu Twitter page confirmed that their live-action Marvel roster included season 3 of Runaways, and two brand new series: Hellstrom and Ghost Rider. A little bit later, Variety confirmed that Luna would be reprising his role as the flaming skull.
If you don’t want to know what happens to him on the ABC series, this is your spoiler warning for the fourth season of Agents of Shield. In the first half of the season, it was revealed that at least one other Ghost Rider exists in the MCU, and that he (or she) was the one that gave Reyes his powers. Nevertheless, the 8th episode of the season finishes with Reyes going to another dimension.
And remember, Hulu also confirmed earlier this year that they were developing a bunch of animated series, Howard the Duck, Tigra & Dazzler, M.O.D.O.K., Hit-Monkey all leading up to The Offenders. Could this mean that Ghost Rider and Hellstrom could be forming a Dark Avengers type of team?
