DC MOVIE FANS, REJOICE! Or at least clap a little.

I think we can all agree that the recent past, present and future is looking pretty amazing. With the financial success of both Wonder Woman and Aquaman, with Joker looking weird/awesome and the Wonder Woman 1984‘s poster being colorful and epic, things seems to be improving (and I’m not even talking about Birds of Prey and New Gods)

That being said, The Flash and Cyborg solo-movies were being rumored to be in deep trouble, especially the first one. Between constantly changing directors, rumours of an Ezra Miller/Grant Morrison script rewrite, and the actor threatening to leave the project, among many, many other problems, the movie seemed doomed.

But, thanks to a simple sentence on the “Power or Pride List” from Variety, we can hope again.

It reads “Miller, who plays the ultra-swift superhero The Flash, will get his DC Universe stand alone film as soon as he wraps up his work on the Harry Potter spinoff series Fastastic Beasts.”

Although Fantastic Beast 3 was delayed to 2021, and that’s ways off, at least we have a little bit of information to keep speculating.

I know what you’re all thinking. “That isn’t anything, Luis!,” “Ezra is totally leaving, man,” “You shouldn’t be eating that chocolate you found on the ground!,” “You should give up hope!” And to that, I say that we, comic book movie fans are experts on maintaining hope, even when everything seems lost.

And this is a very small beam of light for this possible movie.

But, please, let me know your thoughts on this. Am I just a crazy fool for believing this, or are you in the same boat as me?

I’m @luisdnavas everywhere.
