Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne are back together on the big screen for the 19th-century adventure film The Aeronauts. Previously this duo starred together in The Theory of Everything earning both of them Oscar nominations. Tom Courtenay, Phoebe Fox, Himesh Patel, Vincent Perez, and Anne Reid are also on board to star while Tom Harper, who is most known for Peaky Blinders and the mini-series War & Peace, is set to direct.
Inspired by a true story, this Amazon Studios film follows Amelia Wren (Felicity Jones) and James Glashier (Eddie Redmayne) as they plan to make history getting a hot air balloon and flying higher than anyone has before them.
This film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival next month, it will be released in theaters on December 6th and then be available to stream on Amazon December 20th. You can watch the full trailer below and let us know your thoughts @TheCinemaSpot.
