With the TV show WandaVision coming out in 2021 and the focus being on the the relationship between avengers Wanda and Vision, it seemed logical that one of the plot points would be couple’s attempt to start a family despite one being human and the other being an android, just like in the comics. But now that it’s been reported that babies are being cast for the show, that might just happen.

This is very exciting news for Marvel fans because Wanda’s children play a big role in the comics. You see Wanda, who wanted to have children with Vision but couldn’t, combined her magical powers and her mutant reality-altering abilities to conjure up children from lost souls that belonged in the realm of Mephisto (basically Marvel’s Devil). But then Mephisto reclaimed them, which drove Wanda insane which resulted in many outbursts, one of which resulted in reality being altered and the children being resurrected.

The twins grew up to be Wiccan, who possesses magical abilities similar to Wanda, and Speed, who has super-speed like Wanda’s brother Pietro, aka Quicksilver. With Kate Bishop being introduced in the show Hawkeye and Ant-man’s daughter Cassie Lang all grown up, this could lead to a potential Young Avengers movie or TV show.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff, Paul Bettany as Vision, Teyonah Parri as Monica Rambeau, Randall Park as Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis with Kathryn Hahn in an undisclosed role.

The series will premiere on Disney+ in spring 2021.
