Today Matt Reeves announced the casting of John Turturro (The Big Lebowski, Transformers) as mob boss Carmine Falcone.

Falcone was not originally speculated to be in the film when it was first announced but this addition is great. Turturro joins a cast of excellent actors and actresses and as more and more actors are announced the anticipation for the film grows higher everyday.

The Batman has a huge cast attached to the film. Announced so far is Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Andy Serkis as Alfred, Jeffery Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Zoe Kravitz as Selena Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler, and newcomer Jayme Lawson as Bella, who is a politician running for office in Gotham City. Colin Farrell is reportedly still in talks to play Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin.

The Batman is scheduled to be released on June 25, 2021 and is directed by Matt Reeves from a screenplay by Reeves and is also being produced by Reeves.
