Doctor Doom Rumored As ‘Black Panther’ Sequel Villain

Ever since Disney was in talks of acquiring Fox‘s assets, people have been wondering how the Fantastic Four and the X-Men would be introduced into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Now, we may have a clue!

With the success of his integration into the MCU, character Black Panther has made a lasting impact on the ever-expanding world. What’s next for King T’Challa? According to Murphy’s Universe, we may have an answer!

Charles Murphy says that Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom, might be the next villain for Black Panther‘s sequel, which is set to release on May 6th, 2022!

Earlier this year, Disney announced their slate of films for the MCU‘s Phase 4, none of which include anything about the Fantastic Four or mutants. However, producer Kevin Feige did say they still have plans for them in Phase 5 being developed. The Fox characters should already be transferred over into the MCU by 2022 or around this time.

Feige met with Noah Hawley (Legion, Fargo), who pitched a script centered on Doctor Doom. Whether or not this survived during the merger, perhaps elements or aspects of the script would be used in the character’s introduction to the multi-billion dollar franchise.

It may seem that things seem to be falling into place considering the events of Black Panther, Infinity War, and the fourth Avengers film. After the Snap and the reappearance of the universe’s characters, Doom probably established his Latverian empire. In the next BP movie, he’s going to want to expand to Africa.

We’ve yet to end this current decade, so it’s best to take everything with a grain of salt.
