Greg Berlanti is directing a big screen remake of Little Shop of Horrors. We’ve previously discussed this remake in another post about Taron Egerton. This time Chris Evans is the topic of conversation. He is currently in talks to play Orin Scrivello, the dentist and Audrey’s abusive boyfriend. A greaser type fellow who loves to inflict pain on his patients. In the 1986 version he was played by Steve Martin.
Billy Porter is already signed on for this project. Egerton and Scarlett Johansson are still rumored to play Seymour and Audrey. Warner Bros. is the studio behind the project.
Who knows how things will pan out. What are your thoughts on Chris Evans in a movie musical? He’s already made his broadway debut so why not?
