If you have been missing English comedian Sacha Baron Cohen since his appearance on the political satire television series Who is America? and the drama espionage thriller miniseries The Spy, we now know what he has been up to!
In an exclusive report by Collider, the actor has finished shooting the follow-up sequel to his Golden Globe-winning and Academy Award-nominated 2006 comedy film Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, or Borat for short. Although plot details have not yet been clear, the sequel will follow the fictitious Kazakh journalist, Borat Sagdiyev (Sacha Baron Cohen), as “the public knows who he is now, so he has to go ‘undercover’ to interview people [in the United States],” as per Collider.
The first film focused on the character traversing the United States as he films and puts together a documentary featuring real-life interactions with American citizens, all while searching for Baywatch actress and model Pamela Anderson with Sagdiyev’s producer, Azamat Bagatov (Ken Davitian).
A few weeks ago, Baron Cohen had been spotted driving in character on the roads of Los Angeles, California.
