HBO’s Watchmen series has won a few Creative Arts Emmy Awards so far, one of the categories of which is “Outstanding Cinematography For A Limited Series Or Movie” for Gregory Middleton’s work.

Middleton has been the Cinematographer for one-third of the show’s episodes:
- Episode 4, “If you Don’t Like My Story, Write Your Own,”
- Episode 6, “This Extraordinary Being,” and
- Episode 8, “A God Walks into Abar”.
He has also served as Director of Photography on Episode 2, “Martial Feats of Comanche Horsemanship.”
The cinematography of this series is to die for, and I have often cited it in my reviews of the show as one of the many crucial aspects integral to what makes Watchmen the magnificent and praiseworthy series it is!
Damon Lindelof’s first season of Watchmen is available to watch on HBO and HBO Max!
