With a well-written complex fourth season, Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland’s animated Adult Swim science-fiction comedy series Rick and Morty has won the Creative Arts Emmy Award for “Outstanding Animated Program.”

The Season 4 finale showed the protagonist Rick Sanchez (Roiland) in a story that continued from and combined a few Season 3 plots, while also featuring the use of an invisibility belt and the return of old acquaintances. Would you be surprised if this series didn’t win?
