Invinsible comic co-creator Robert Kirkman and series star Steven Yeun have announced that Amason’s Invicible has been renewed for seasons 2 and 3 as the shows first season begins to wind to an epic end. The animated series premiered at the end of March, and tells the story of Mark Grayson, the son of the famed Omni-Man, as he learns to become a superhero. The grounded spin on superheroes sets the story apart from that of Amazon’s The Boys, and instead puts the struggle of a teenager with superpowers and a (possibly?) evil father on display for a young hero trying to do good.

Invincible currently boasts a 96% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and a 91% rating for its Audience Score. A live action film is also in development and is set to be written, produced, and directed by Seth Rogen.
The show stars Steven Yeun (The Walking Dead), as the titular character Invincible/Mark Grayson, with J.K. Simmons voicing his father Omni-Man/Nolan Grayson. Sandra Oh, Gillian Jacobs, Zazie Beetz, and Jason Mantzoukas also star, with appearances from Mark Hamill, Seth Rogen, Jon Hamm, and many, many more.
